The 16-player squad for the two-match Test series between Pakistan and New Zealand has been announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

After the memorable loss against Britain, a few changes have been made in the Pakistani group.

Kamran Ghulam has been added to the team in place of senior batsman Azhar Ali, who left the team before the third Test match against England. Muhammad Ali, who made his debut against England in Rawalpindi, has been replaced by fast bowler Hasan Ali. The squad has seen a return.

Muhammad Ali and Faheem Ashraf, both all-rounders, have been left out of the series against New Zealand. The team has also been without the injured fast bowler Haris Rauf.

Fast bowler Naseem Shah, on the other hand, has fully recovered and rejoined the team after missing the Multan and Karachi Tests with a shoulder injury during the England Test series.


England prevailed over Pakistan for the first time in the home Test series, winning by eight wickets.

The England team won the three-match series by an eight-wicket margin on the fourth day of the third and final Test match in Karachi.
On the fourth day, the English team needed 55 runs to win the match, which Ben Duckett and Ben Stokes scored by playing quickly.
